The Temple

The Temple area was developed for the reopening of Secret Garden Party, with Gee brought on to support the design and development of a captivating centerpiece. The Temple structure, set on a 5x5 platform suspended within a body of water, was designed to inspire reflection, movement, and light while fostering a sense of community and introspection for all festival-goers.

Built onto an existing pontoon on the swimming lake, the design featured 4m tall geometric drapes gracefully suspended from the platform’s corners over the water. Reflection was a central theme, explored through the use of mirrors and stained-glass-style archways to create a sense of spaciousness and immersion.

As the sun set, the centerpiece—a mesmerizing central infinity well—came to life, transforming the Temple into a tranquil, exploratory space that could be enjoyed both during the day and into the night.
