Gee’s role in the project

Gee played an integral role in the creation of Limbic Cinema’s Illusions of Movement, a projection-mapped film installation celebrating the power of moving images. She designed three interlocking aluminum rear projection screens, ensuring the structure was both visually striking and optimized for touring. Gee developed comprehensive design packages, sourced fabricators and suppliers, and conducted in-depth materials research to guarantee the use of high-quality components and fixings.

Her responsibilities extended to developing and implementing efficient rigging methods, managing the sourcing and coordination of crews for installation and de-rigging, and overseeing the production package requirements. Gee also liaised with venue staff to ensure smooth operations and negotiated budgets to achieve the project’s goals. Her expertise ensured the installation’s success as an immersive, tour-ready experience.
